  • Does this start were the first movie ends?

  • No. This film starts at the end of war, when everyone starts to go home. That's what this clip features -- the celebration and goodbyes.

  • I bet Greer Garon and Lana and the others never imagined they would have fans in the year 2008!!!

  • I think John Hodiak is one of the most underrated actors ever. What a talent and voice!

  • Thank you so much for this. I only found out there was a sequel to Mrs Miniver recently.

  • @kensmom33 they didnt mention the oldest son in this movie becuz he had married greer garson and gotten it annulled/divorced and it was awkward between them

  • she is so beutiful and really has elengance, i love her movies

  • Mrs. Miniver didn't have an affair. She loves Romway, who has been boarding with her, and wants to return his affection. She believes that theirs is merely a close companionship due to their mutual need for comfort. Jan Struther, who created the original Mrs M had no part in the M Story. She actually succeeded in suing MGM for disposing of her character. It's a shame this movie failed--I do think Greer and Walter are fantastic. But they should have left well enough alone.

  • So, let me get this straight, Mrs. Miniver has an affair with an American Army Officer? Why would the writers and producers do that to her character?

  • I do not remember this scene with the American officer in the film. Can it be that there are different versions?

  • It's on Turner Classic Movies, and one can request a showing--which might not happen--or even buy a copy from the TMC web site.
