  • Hey Sue.. I'm playing a little catch up with videos, but I did see a little of this the other day when you sent it to me.. Did this egg hatch? I need to go check the site again..

  • @mysteryglo No, a lizard tried to attack the nest but she fought it off. However, the egg turned out to not be viable so she abandoned it. :( The owner of the web cam said she's laid many eggs there over the years so I'm sure she'll be back. She stil buzzes around. He said she has 4 nests in that rose bush. hehe

  • Don't get me addicted to this sue! Omg.

  • @pictureperfectplanet You won't get addicted now because she has abandoned the nest. A lizard kept coming back and it wore her out I think. that's my 2 cents worth. :(

  • That is so awesome! Must check it out...thanks for link. ;)

  • @NiteBlogger hehe yeah, it's in Cali. It seems she has abandoned the nest. I guess because the lizard came back again yester day. Now that her nest has his scent on it I don't think she'll lay more eggs in that nest. The host said she has had many nests in that rose bush over the years so maybe she'll build a new one. I hear her buzzing around now and then still.

  • Went there - but it was black (I'm thinking, oh boy, somethings not working right) then I read the cam is located here in Orange County (where I live) and it's 1AM - WELL DUH!!!

Hope she does lay more. :)

  • @NiteBlogger It was really cool until later today. She left the nest but comes back sometimes but we think the second egg isn't viable now. :( The owner of the web cam said she lives in that rose bush and has raised many baby humming birds there. So maybe she'll lay more eggs soon.

  • I'm sure they do somewhere. BRAT! ;)

  • Cool, do they have a paint drying channel too? LOL
