Off The Shelf (Let's Play): God of War 2 [PS2][HD] - Part 14 - Cerberus

Solve the gate puzzle, by using the dead body found up top. Make way for a sweet cutscene, where we learn why Zeus turned out the way he did... Find a gorgon eye on the ledge, extending the life meter [6/36]. Do battle with the Cerberus, which is made somewhat easier with the Rage of the Titans, since he gives yellow orbs after each kill sequence. Proceed to climbing to the other side of the temple.

I always wondered how Cronos would fall for such a goofy trick (switching a friggin' baby for a friggin stone) but from this perspective it doesn't seem as unlikely.

Funny how the doors actually have a huge circular opening in the middle that in theory would allow Kratos to pass through (but video game logic is what it is :P)

cronos was indeed a titan, the only difference however is that zues disembowled cronos rather than punish him.

I never knew Cronos was a Titan, just that he was the father of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. Or, was that just another piece of the mythology that was twisted to make it more interesting in the game?
