@86racer the miata engines are built to withstand well over 7K i have a buddy his revs to 9K and holy shit that thing just screams it girly little nuts off LOL
-
I think it was around 5-6 seconds which is still good cant wait to get my 90 kickin like this
-
@tristantao No. I'ts what's called a dummy guage. It shows good or bad. that's about all. I believe 94 was the last year for a true oil pressure guage. Hit the forums

Damn it's pretty quick, 0-60 in roughly 4 seconds? If I'm not mistaken, if so correct me.
-
@tristantao It does. Oil pomp is connected to parts of the engine. So when you rev up, oil pump rev's up aswell. Also, oil pressure will be higher on a cool engine then on a hot one. Don't worry. Greeting from a fellow miata owner.

@famouszildjian1913 actually properly biased AWD is the best layout for acceleration just because you have two extra wheels putting power down. Yes there are more drivetrain losses with AWD, but when you have enough power to NEED AWD that drivetrain loss is negligable.

@juhanifuckedurmom put in a 3.636 diff with the 6 speed. It gears the car more like the 5spd and 6th acts more as an overdrive. Believe it or not but the 6 speed is actually shorter than the 5 speed, thats more than enough gear for N/a and with turbo youre pretty much wasting time shifting with gears that short.

damn nice, shifting a little high? i have a stock 1.6 and at WOT i shift it at 6-6500. i would love a turbo!
considering RWD? why would that be bad? rwd is the best layout for acceleration

@JD0x0 Not really. If you had two cars identical weight and bhp, one was RWD the other 4WD, the RWD would batter the 4wd car in a straight line
