@TerraRyzinglives I agree. She's all over the 'net. She's performing all over the place. Look on Youtube - I've seen an cappella group sing this song, ballroom dancers doing cha cha it. Hell, I'm a 40 year old swing dancer and *I* know about her. And I've told my friends about her. Clearly Puff is doing his job.
Perhaps we don't need Miss Janelle to be the next Beyonce or Lady Gaga. Perhaps Janelle being Janelle is enough.

this would have been a good song on 'the Wire' (I know that was Baltimore, but still), and funny how such insightful social commentary comes from drama's and songwriters, but seldom the news or political debate. And What lovely chords... this is so refreshing...
