  • Hello there guys, I've been trying to upload more tracks of The Allman Brothers Band but I seem to have some technical trouble =( I'll try my best and please send me your favorites, I have all of their discs on my possesion.

  • I'm not familiar with the later ABB stuff, what's the set up here as far as instruments go?

  • @zeppelinstrat Sorry for the late reply, it's: * Gregg Allman - Keyboards, Vocals * Dickey Betts -Guitar, Vocals, * Dan Toler - Guitar * David Goldflies - Bass * Jaimoe - Percussion, Drums * Butch Trucks - Percussion, Drums

Joe Lala helps with the percussion on this great track.

  • The first and greatest southern rock band. Pegasus just another one of their great instrumentals. Thanks for posting. See if you can post one of their "lost" instrumentals, High Falls.

  • Awesome sound.....the memories come flooding in.......thanks...

  • After this LP, the band signed with Clive Davis as Capricorn Records went belly up. No more Tom Dowd and no more good bluesy instrumentals. The subsequent albums were so bad they aren't even in print anymore. Redemption came with Seven Turns in 1990.

  • Man, every time I listen carefully to any given Allman Brothers jam, I immediately get this strong feeling to jump off my chair and just fly away!

  • Today, freedom

  • Many thanks for posting this...I had forgotten about it -- the feeling of the song comes back quickly -- like greeting an old friend...

  • In my opinion. "Enlightened Rogues" is as good an ABB album as "Idewild South"

    and."Eat a Peach".But by 1979,with the resurgence of Hard Rock(i.e Van Halen)

along with bands like The Cars and The Pretenders, not suprised why it was so

    quickly dismissed.

  • thanx for this, they wouldn't let upload anything from this album in the shitty U.S.A cause of copyright laws.

  • *****

  • @turboraton same Joe Lala that was On "Blues Image" Ride ,Captain Ride..........
