I think what Ubetlcare is trying to say is he'd appreciate a more RECENT situation involving this company, although we do appreciate all that is bought forth to us about this company, it wouldn't hurt to know the CURRENT standings of the company as well. Very old news. What you didn't mention was the fact Amway paid every penny it owed to Canada and did not "avoid" paying anything. Tell me which successful, fast growing company hasn't been sued for something. No such thing as the "perfect" company.

It is a valid comparison. The Canadian taxpayers, that encompasses hundreds of thousands of people, where hurt from Amway scamming the Canadian Government. You think that it is okay since it occurred 20 years ago. I dont share your view. I think a company should operate with the utmost integrity. If they compromised that position by trying to save a few million dollars by scamming a government, then shame on them.

I agree with you and thank you for the suggestion. I guess I never thought to add links since this case is fairly well known and can easily be found by just googling it.
