my wifes dads new wife was at woodstock.she is 71 now. she is really kool. she said woodstock was great and alot of what you heard about it just wasnt true. media acted like it was a big drugged out orgy.she said yes there was some acid going around and some water pipes(as she put it) but most were just kids going to a rock concert.most of the people at show lived in surrounding area. even though there were those who came from all over.she said it wasnt a protest just a big concert

i love this song its a great song from the vietnam eri0d i luv ccr songs when you can connect them to war especialy this is one of the bands that soldiers listened toover in vioetnam but some liked country mostly alot of them liked this gives you a feeingb over in those days in the vietnam war i picture in my mind over back old days ofr vietnam so0me war and some like there doin something aroun the base or helicopter coming in back or some soldier smoking cigeratte

Great tune, but could you tell me if it was a song all about the bands love for Suzie Quatro ? or not . Because she was a great little rocker in the late 1960's to early 1970's, about the same time that this group was around. Many thanks for uploading the full length live version for us all to hear.
