Pokemon Heart Gold — vs. Lance, the Champion

This battle........was solely a luck game......What you are watching now is the......6th take of the battle because I kept restarting......I shall explain why below......

Gyarados, not many problems. I know Ampharos can take on some damages. That paralyze effect is just a add-on and wont change the situation.

Then........it was the level 50 Dragonite........The Ice Beam of my Kingdra was my main weapon in this battle.....it was supposed to be. First take, Kingdra still got its Amulet Coin attached. Ice Beam fired, the Dragonite managed to survive, plus one hit of Outrage. Bye-bye Kingdra!.........well anyway I had overestimated Kingdra's special attack at first. Of course, without Kingdra I can do nothing. Dragonite wiped my team out. Oh well *restarts*

Second take, I sacrificed the money for the victory. No Amulet Coin for Kingdra anymore. Based on the HP left of that Dragonite I decided to use Choice Spectacle. And Ice Beam did managed to kill that Dragonite. "Haha! Your most powerful Dragonite is down! Now I can win!!!" Then there came the level 49 Dragonite. *chooses Ice Beam and prepares to watch it die* Dragonite uses Dragon Dive!...............o_O............!?..............O_O WHAT!? WHAT THE HELL IS THIS THE LEVEL 49 DRAGONITE!?!?! IT IS EVEN FASTER THAN THE LEVEL 50 ONE!?!!? I dont have to say what happened next........"Ok then it's take 3....."

Take 3. All same scenario. And I still cant find a way to get pass this dead-lock. After restarting for the third time, I decided.......it's time to let the probability to help me......"Dragon Dive's accuracy is 75 only so it can be missed!" So there goes the 4th and 5th take because it STILL manages to hit.

Finally in take 6, which is what you're all watching now, that Dragon Dive missed! Finally the Ice Beam killed that damn Dragonite........THEN IT WAS ANOTHER LEVEL 49 DRAGONITE. A chill was rising in my body. "So I have to get pass that dead-lock twice.....?" Luckily, the final Dragonite was slower than Kingdra so it failed to survive....

All Dragonites were out. That means I'm no longer in grave danger. Charizard was the next Pokemon and since I dont want to use Ice Beam on it I sent out Ampharos again. It was nothing but a healing battle. I still got quite a lot of potions left because......I didnt even have the chance to use them in the previous battles before my Pokemons are knocked out....

Aerodactyl was the final Pokemon. If things havent been changed and my memories were right, it has Earthquake so I aint gonna use Ampharos to fight. Kingdra served the final killer. Lucky that Rock Slide failed to cause flinching and at last........AT LAST I WON THE BATTLE!!!!!!

This Lance is definitely stronger than the old GS one......Ignoring tonnes of new attacks, the Dragonites have leveled up as well. And clearly I was still expecting the old strategies from GS which leaded me to all these troubling situations. Blah........But anyway, being able to beat the game is gorgeous!!! It has been a long long time since I last listened to that beautiful ending melody!

Can't beat this guy. Where can I get Ice Beam for my Vaporeon? This is the only chance I have, his Dragonites 2HKO ALL my Pokemon with Dragon Rush.
