http://namm.soundsandgear.com we were able to capture some direct sound from the Arturia MiniBrute...this thing is a little monster! Very raw sounding synth.

  • I'm sorry, but this was a terrible demo. It's like you've no idea how to approach a synthesizer.

  • @pirahna1 LOL, feel better now? I never knew there was a single way to play with a synth. Maybe since it's called "mini brute" we wanted to see how raw and nasty it could get. Thanks for the comment anyway lol.

  • * yawn * I have a Novation that makes every sound I heard there; and practically every other synth around can do what I heard.

  • @Johnnysynth I have a novation too, sounds nothing like this.

  • definitely a cool and refreshing product, especially coming from arturia, but this isn't exactly new sonic territory. almost any synth with an external audio input can have the output signal split and sent back into its input for this kind of analog feedback madness.

  • @shayeasy I don't think the feedback circuit was trying to claim "new sonic territory" it's still useful. I have similar on a bunch of other synths, doesn't make it useless though, as each synth will sound different when using such a feature. I'm more excited about the fact that it's a full analog synth, with tons of knobs and sliders, for a very affordable price.

  • what are you people hypnotized? It sounds like shite! and I like noise!

  • Sweet.

  • @SoundsAndGear Yup, I don't need it, but I want it ;)

  • @mutantmoments exactly man, that's exactly how I felt. I'll still get it, but wish it was a module, with all the knobs and sliders still. That would be very nice :)
