"On February 23, 2009, 24-year-old Sam Brown of British Columbia was arrested by U.S. authorities in Washington State as he landed a helicopter he had piloted across the border. Sam's crime: he was attempting to smuggle almost 200 kilograms (440lbs) of marijuana, "B.C. Bud".

  • Young people like to take risks, some more than others, such is life and we can't change that. However, we can do away with the prohibition laws (and thus the big money involved) that cause the enticement for one to enter this business in the first place. Or would we rather keep putting young people like Sam Brown into prison? What good has that ever done before?
