old start cold start 1978 78 ford f150 ranger 4x4 "high boy" highboy

cold snowy day feb. 10th 2010 ,cold start of my 1978 ford with a fresh .30 over true 400cid engine ....as for the red primmer door thats in all reality the reason I got pop to let me have the ol' girl ...all I will say is a load of mulch a tree ...need I say more lol anyway that happened in late summer 1995 ,the truck set untouched over the door till 2007 when I one day asked for it again like I had for over 10 years !!! and I was driving the wrecker ,he said take it if your gonna fix it and walked away ,to this day I know it hurts him to have let it go he bought it new ,his only new truck ,I am sure he has his memories with it ,but I do too ....I remember the paint nice and shiny and all that ,and it will be again ...the truck set so long that the 20k over hauled engine had stuck valves and whatnot ,so I have since been 100% through the drive train all new brake components the engine, trans , transfer case ,diffs ,other than the body ,that will get done this summer all it needs is a new heater fan motor it works but if you watched the video could make one spill his beer on a cold eve ,it shuts up in less than 10 sec. and works fine so that why it still in it and it's cold out ....it's like the wipers ,do you think about replacing them on a nice sunny day ....heater fan in the summer ....not lol well enjoy the video and if ya don't like it ,tough ford tough lol

well fords were made to last and take a beating that is why i am a FORD man. it aint sposed to look pretty if it runs dont matter what the car or truck looks like hell it could be 4 diffrent colors and id still drive it.

@goober239 far from it , it only has 30k actual miles on it , my dad never drove it except in the winter , and to pull the camper , it set for 10 years untouched before I brought it home , it has and will go when your new truck won't I promise you !
