no it was actual footage. The guy died, his friends and family allowed the footage to be used to prevent other similar incidents happening.. was in the newspaper about it;

Because it shows like a bunch of kids having a laugh and messing about and then one of them gets hit by a car, which I bet happens often. I don't care if it's staged or not, it's still a damn good advert.
