I did both tracks on Audacity Freeware and was using a Shure SM57 to record the amp directly into the sound card of my computer. I had to boost the volume in Audacity so there is a little white noise but I didn't have any other way to amplify the singnal path.
Guitar is my American HSS Strat with a Vintage Noisless Pickup in the neck position.

Hi man! I've got the same gear (Valve Std and Fat SW) but i can hear a really annoing hum when I turn up the Matser volume on the amp. It comes even without pedals, even without a guitar plugged in. It comes from 4/10 to 8/10 of my Volume control, while before and after those limits it's just noiseless. Do you have the same problem on your amp or it's just mine?! Thanks!
No mine does not do that, I would take it to a tech or at least post in a forum about it and maybe they can point you in the right direction, good luck man!
Also remember though a tube amp cranked up is not always silent either, I don't know how bad the hum is, but some hum/hiss is normal when cranked, good luck.
