  • This vid gives a good sense of how Randy wrapped a more contemporary sound around Ozzy's chanting. The lyrics and melody could be straight up Sabbath, but the dynamism of Randy's playing made it fresh.

  • ozzy's on heroin and randy's on speed...

  • The Best Guitar Solo on Planet Earth :)

  • 8 people are totally retarded if you don't like this you must be deaf

  • i sure do hope Sharon took care of Ozzy,s woody after this video!!!!!!!

  • The solo broke my leg. Thats how bone crushing it was... The only one who could do that

  • @rokvidfan Yes! I agree completely!

  • @rokvidfan Perfectly stated!

  • @DrDeath26 Randy was also a great shredder, speed picker, tapper, but didn't dote on the fact he could. he played all his styles into his parts of the songs.

  • @DrDeath26 yea, i feel ya, heaven n hell was the best non-ozzy sabbath record, anyway. AC/DC has always been a mood band, for me, though. Jimi was a tripper who put what he saw/heard/tasted into his music, i believe, probably not, but it's a nice thought. but Randy...Randy was a culmination of all that was right in the world of music, classical styles, great musical history/backround, his moms musical institute and first guitar at like 3 or 4 etc etc. (continue)

  • @rokvidfan I was all of 13 in 1978 and when Van Halen came out w/ their first album it was like... WTF??? I mean, the only other guitarist who changed everything like Eddie did was Jimi Hendrix. Then in 1981 {I live in the US} when Blizzard Of Ozz was released everybody was just in awe. It was a great time to be young and into great music. You also had AC/DC w/ Back In Black and Sabbath w/ Heaven & Hell... all within a few short years. And Randy just blew everyone away...
