In this animation, the ice accumulates on the Beechcraft Bonanza's wings, tail surfaces, propeller and windshield. As the ice load grows, the pilot pitches up to maintain lift, which makes the situation worse. Watch how the laminar airflow begins to degrade as the load builds on the wings.
