Here's something rare: A 1970's (circa 1974?) TV commercial for Post Super Sugar Crisp featuring a talking walkaround Sugar Bear character instead of the cartoon version interacting with live action kids and even foiling a Krofft-like villan named Shaggy Dan.

  • I think after showing that nightmare they went back to the animated format! That looked horrible!

  • @Oldbmwr100rs Why was it a nightmare?

  • @heine71 Creepy mascot costumes and the way the eyes and mouth moved. They put a lot of work into the costumes though. But I grew up watching the cartoon commercials since the late 60's, so that change was too weird.

  • @Oldbmwr100rs I think this was a test commercial or something like that.

  • he didn't sing the song!

  • @TheDylanJoyce CRISP CRISP CRISP CRISP CRISP!
