Very good review but sadly I not frequently using live view to capture all my photo because
1) it tend to eat your battery more quickly
2) AF little bit slower than using view finder
So bye-bye live view. Unless you are shooting movie.

Great video. Thanks for pointing out the absence of the live histogram and meter on the D7000. It was the camera I was leaning towards, but I am only a casual hobby photographer and am used to the metering/histogram from my Canon G9. I also like the Canon's simple live preview of the picture before I waste a shot. I'm now starting to lean towards Canon.

At 3:57 you can see the middle live mode selection for face detection.
