Julian Sher wrote a great book about this sort of thing, about child sex trafficking exploitation in North America. It's a real opener about how North American culture in multiple ways reinforces the trade, and these kids are feeling empty and worthless. This video is a good summary of how the children will spiral into the cycle of abuse at the hands of a pimp.
