The $94 million HOPE in the Face of Crisis Campaign will allow Project HOPE to expand its fight against disaster and disease and improve health care for the world's most vulnerable by:
COMBATING DISEASE
Expanded vaccine programs, health education and screenings will save more lives threatened by chronic disease. Training for more than 25,000 health professionals will stem the spread of infectious diseases.
RESPONDING TO DISASTER
HOPE will deliver $250 million of donated medicines and supplies to disaster zones by 2015 and boost its volunteer corps by 1,000 health care professionals to provide medical care afro more thatn 50,000 people annually.
SAVING THE LIVES OF THE MOST VULNERABLE
Childhood immunizations, breat and cervical cancer screeening and healthprofessiona training in childhood and postnal care will reduce child and maternal mortality.
NURTURING INNOVATION
A new Health Innovation Fund will support the development of effective long-term solutions to the world's most pressing health challenges.
