Inside Story - Israel-Hezbollah deal - 01 June 08 - Part 1

A naturalized Israeli citizen convicted of spying for Hezbollah in 2002 has been deported back to Lebanon after spending six years in jail. On their side, Hezbollah has returned the remains of Israeli soldiers killed during the 2006 war. The exchange took place amid rumours that the release might be part of a larger scale prisoner swap between the two. Inside Story investigates.

In 1989 the vote was 153 to 3. In 2006 the vote was 157 to 7 for the "two state resolution" to bring peace.
