La broncemia, una enfermedad de la medicina moderna: Francisco Occhiuzzi at TEDxCordoba

Francisco Occhiuzzi (drocchiuzzi@gmail.com), médico egresado de la UNC en 1965, Doctor en Medicina y Cirugía, Especialista en Cirugía General, en Flebología y Linfología.

En el desarrollo diario de su profesión, y en su actividad docente con médicos jóvenes, se preocupó por inculcar el valor que tienen la humildad y el afecto en la relación médico-paciente. Siguiendo este principio logró que la Clínica Jesús María, de la cual es Director, llegara a ser la primera Institución Médica Argentina en certificar en 1997, su Sistema de Calidad de la Atención, bajo Normas ISO 9000.

Fue también el Director del Primer Curso de Pregrado llamado "La Calidad de la Atención Médica", de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. En el mismo se analizó profundamente un nuevo encuadre en el vínculo médico-paciente.

Francisco Occhiuzzi (drocchiuzzi@gmail.com) is a physician graduated at the National University of Cordoba (UNC) in 1965, who earned a PhD in Medicine and Surgery, with a specialization in General Surgery, Phlebology and Lymphology.
In the daily development of his profession and in his lessons to young physicians, he has focused on instilling the value of humility and affection in the doctor-patient relationship. 

Following this principle, he managed to make that, under his direction, Clínica Jesús María became the first Argentine medical institution to certify its System of Quality of Attention under the ISO 900 Standards in 1997. He was also the Director of the First Course for Undergraduate Students named "Medical Attention Quality" at the School of Medicine in the National University of Cordoba, which analyzed in depth the doctor-patient bond.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Cuantos menos errores , negligencias, eventos adversos prodría evitarse si tantos profesionales de la Salud tuvieran la suficente humildad para reconocer que tenemos que estar abiertos a aprender de los errores aceptandolos como tal para que no se repitan,a estar atentos y ser estudiosos de las nuevas tecnicas , los adelantos de la Medicina ,,, no ser como la avestruz esconder la cabeza , en vez de luchar y luchar y CUIDAR LA VIDA DE CADA SER HUMANO CUANDO ES PACIENTE !,todos seremos pacientes
