City Marshalls escorted out a resident speaking out against the Paul McKee NorthSide redevelopment plan. The man refused to obey the commission's two-minute podium limit for comments and he objected to the size of the room, which left over a hundred people standing out in the hall.
By a unanimous vote, the city's Tax Increment Financing commission approved McKee's request for a 390-million dollar TIF. Supporters testified it will create jobs. Opponents are worried about eminent domain.
It now moves onto the full Board of Aldermen for more debate.
I had the displeasure of meeting him in a meeting and he's just another LIBERAL white person wanting to keep black folk in bondage. Too many folk like him helping black folks to the point that it hurts. Wake up people!

Paul paid job corp students $40 to hold signs and wear T-shirts and fill up the seats so protestors could not get in the meeting.
People need to get educated on how TIF works and stop looking at the pop up pictures in the plan.
The man escorted out was only speaking the truth.
