70's and 80's were the last years when music was real

@dee63628 Sure, the African American population migrated from known for Funk to known for Rap, and then the little white kids are sucked in, trying to be gangsters, listening to the trashy Rap songs that talk only about sex, money, and drugs with words so vulgar they make me wonder if their parents know what they're listening to, but I am only 13 but I am lucky enough to KNOW these songs are the best there ever was. I only wish more people would get it. I agree with your statement.

Thanks for this great compilation. I was in a bar next to where Donna Summer was performing and she came in and started throwing a fit about 'don't you people know who I am?'. I then saw Daryl Hall perform and when he sang Sara he was crying and got down on hands and knees and was beating the stage while singing. We were like 'wow something is going on here'. The drummer from the Romantics was a great guy (he got me free tickets)!

@dee63628 Excuse you? I know what real music sounds like, and it sounds a lot like this.

I cannot believe I completely forgot "My Dingaling". Good grief.

I absolutely hate the music of my generation :P The 60s, 70s and 80s are DEFINITELY where the greatest treasure trove of music is found <3 70s

These are fantastic songs. No violence or put downs. What happened to music?
I miss the 70s, it was great growing up then.
