The Blackstone Branch Library was built in 1904 and is the oldest in the Chicago Public Library system. Four lunette murals under the dome of the library, created by well known Chicago painter Oliver Denette Grover, were recently restored to their former glory. Chicago Works travels to Hyde Park to bring you more information on this very unique and beautiful library.
