  • Pushing hands is such fun! When it's done with good intention everybody smiles and laughs :-)

    The opponent's force is matched by the response of the master - the more they try to get one over on him the greater the force they receive. Because no one is actually trying to hurt him it stays light and playful but the moment any real aggression is directed towards the master believe me that person will be getting floored or controlled.   • @shifudan with some chi trick masters i would agree, but the manifestation here is quite authentic. however, the participants are very polite and compliant to play nicely, but once they are in a bad position the rest is quite real. this just an exercise game. it's like runnin game on a female, you start off just playin with each other, there is some give and take on both sides, but once you take advantage she is hooked, stuck, sprung, and played. Ma Yueh Liang was a great push hands playa.

  • I was skeptical at first. I thought the first few guys were acting... until the last dude walked up. He looked genuinely like someone who just happened to be there, not a faking actor. Plus he did not look like he practise push hand before.
