Stone Harbor, 1974

People used iPad's in 1974, right?

After last years Stone Harbor video, I wanted to switch things up a bit. This year I decided to make a video that was less about WHERE I was and MORE about the people I was there with. I left my tripod at home. I didn't plan out any shots. I didn't stage any scenes. All of the footage was handheld, spontaneous footage of whatever we happened to be doing at the moment.

I've always loved the look/sound/effect of old 1970's Super-8 vacation films, so that's what we set out to make. Of course, this was all shot on my Canon 5D MkII so the 8mm effects and editing were all done in Final Cut Pro.
