Let's look at the past 16 years, who's been more successful? I'm pretty sure the Eagles have and they always will be - Priority access doesn't mean crap, even if the Eagles didn't win the 92 and 94 premierships they've still done a shitload better than Freo has in the past decade. I'll be enjoying watching the Eagles smash Freo next year once again.

@jords1616 Thats so true. You have to remember though that in the mid 80's WA had a really really good state side. I just wonder even if Freo had been granted all the concessions there wasnt the same talent coming out of WA in the mid 90's that werent already at the eagles.

@TheStidOfficial you only won those 92 and 94 flags because you were given a state of origin side in the late 80's. Freo started in 1995 with the Claremont reserves. Wanker eagles supporters often forget to mention this.

Any footy fan with half a brain(2 eagles fans together might achieve this) would know that the 92&94 flags came from being granted priority access to all WA footballers in the years after inception, just think how many top players you would have if granted the same conc in 06,07&08. conversely, Freo were given few draft concessions which made it hard to form a base for success.We may not have been the most successful team in our 1st 14 yrs,but atleast our fans arnt a bunch of no-brain Fuckheads
