@oeyesea ya heres my thing, roberts is in enemy grounds and still somewhat kicking ass with his sidearm, chapman is now on the LZ, then is like wtf, im alone, starts sending rounds downrange, retreats a few meters left or right then sees roberts, they both link up, take out a bunker, then succomb to wounds.....any way, they both are amazing men and i think the two of them and Cunningham should be nominated for the Medal Of honor
Oh yeah, definitely. I also read somewhere after that they have recording of someone taking the bunker and then fighting from the bunker using it to defend, and he was killed just as choppers came over the peak to help. I'm pretty sure they said it was Chappy. Robert's was taken off somewhere and shot in the head from what I read.
@oeyesea noone knows how either died. but they did find some Al Quiada wearing both mens gear. they found one guy wearin Neils helmet. this helmet had a hole in the back of it. which made some of the marines believe he died by execution.
Somebody attacked one of the Al Quaida bunkers after both Neil Roberts & John Chapman were supposedly killed. Some people think it could have been another AQ fighter confused in the fog of war. Some claim it was Roberts. I, myself, think it was Chappy who attacked the bunker since Chappy was initially only presumed dead because his laser sighting beam stopped moving whereas Roberts' death was most likely filmed by the AC-130. To me it seems Chappy is the lazarus figure.

ok, this is crap. They barely mention Jason Cunningham and what he did. He saved over 13 lives that day.
