I found my way here through a blog who wrote about the accident. The article claimed the wreck is haunted. Did you notice anything strange inside the wreck?
Since you seem to be professional scuba divers and familiar with that part of the world, which makes me wonder if you have explored what is called The Bimini Road?

Cool video. I dived this boat in '03. Crystal clear waters. It was stunning.

It was featured in the film THE DEEP

Shame you didn't do some more wrecks. I checked out your cave diving video - very good. I've been putting the nitrox for too long now, I keep telling myself theres enough abouve 40m to keep myself occucpied!!Maybe I'll take the plunge in 2008, who knows!!

I have not been to Bimini road. Most of our diving is in North Carolina. I didn't see anything haunting about the Rhone, enchanting maybe, haunting...No. It is a very beautiful wrecksite, full of life. This video does it no justice. This video is 10 years old.

That was a great video guys! You failed to mention the local redident Fang the barricuda. Not unlike the moray eel in the movie the deep.

Fang made a brief appearance in the beginning of the video inside the wreck. He was hiding out in the dark.

Hi guys,
I dived the RMS Rhone in August 2007, your video is a fantastic souvenir for me, thanks
I saw the port hole and even touched it myself, aswell as seeing a number of turtles, huge lobsters and nurse sharks.

I'm glad you liked the video, and I would love the chance to dive this wreck again with my brother.

I'm planning on going back myself, hopefully in summer 2008. Did you dive wreck alley while you were there? I stayed on cooper island for a week and did some fantastic dives from there. It certainly beats cold diving in a dry suit in the U.K. Although I must admit our quarrys still keep me ispired and sometimes its just about the diving isn't it, not all about the scenery.

No, we mostly dove on reefs. The Rhone was my only wreck dive of the week....which sucks, cuz I'm a wreck diver from NC. I dive cold quarries here at home in a drysuit too, so yes, it is about the diving sometimes. I have recently begun cave diving, and that is a whole new experience.
