  • I love the tubas

  • nice....trombones are great players..........

  • now that was cool. community bands in my part of USA just sit. With exception of military & few specialty groups, most adult players stop marching after their schooldays & only perform sitting down. Your band looked & sounded terrific. (Ravenswood March?) Would've liked to see more.

  • I do not have that pleasure but i have shot a number of videos of them Bob M

  • Are you in the Houston Brass Band?

  • How often does that D/M miss catching the mace?

  • Their mark time style is what we call Big Ten or Show band. At its height the calf parallel to the line of the opposite leg while the thigh is at a 45 degree angle. It is a difficult style to play whilst doing.

  • absolutely fantastic! I mean "Ravenswood" is a tricky march on the cornet section, and to march while playing it....well, what can I say. Pure class.

  • Oh Thank Goodness for posting this. I have been looking for more Woolston Brass band for a year now. they are fabulous. More like traditional British brass band [the sitting type] yet they get up and march so well. Hooah. Bob M Houston TX USA
