JKD is more about incorporating and exploring every art possible and liek bruce lee said, not copy the style, technique or even moves, but their 'essence'. I'm sure this is just part of these JKD practioner' training. If you watch the rest of the clips of the channel u will see there are many more aspects of fighting explored. This is just part of it. Open up your mind and learn all you can. No restrictions/ boundaries.
No,Those kicks that Bruce Use in his movies,The jump kicks and spin kicks.Bruce preach simplicity, effiency and directness. You should read more and find a teacher.
red the tao of jeet kune do. jkd wasnt meant to be simple (it also wasnt called jkd till after bruce passed away). bruce used many advanced kicks and such when he could, spin kicks for the little more power and such. he just wanted peopel to not use them until they had gotton their game to a certain level
@ireallyshot2pac wrong. I readed tao of jeet kune do and JKD WAS man to be simple. Simplicity, dicertness and time economy are main concepts.

That´s righte maybe, but i don´t think, that he(Bruce) would use such kick´s. this likes more like TKD than JKD, but if that work for you, it´s ok.
