wtf you mean corvette has POS engine? you do realize that the LS7 is making 505HP all motor while the POS GTR makes less than that on turbo dont you? you like mazda so much heres something for ya: mazda is domestic not an import do some research you fag. and as for the stang its a muscle car so compare super car to supcar the ZR1 vette would run laps around you r shitty mazda or gtr or whever the fuck you bring.

The Z06 is around 125 MPH and the Mustang is probably around 114 MPH in the 1/4 and they spend very little time at those speeds and above 95 for it to matter. The Z got the huge lead before they even hit 90 which is around the 1/8th. No, it doesn't matter "a lot" in the 1/4. If it did this equation wouldn't be so consistent...It doesn't consider drag but is very accurate. hp = weight(velocity/234)^3

even ford fans know that Chevy is just dominating in case of real muscle performance

the Chevy C6 ZO6 raped the Gallardo, F430, the murcielago (base model), the pagani zonda f, EVERY M-bmw and even every AMG included the SLR MClaren (look it up in M5board tests)

plus the ZO6 got a awesome nurburgring lap time: 7:42 (faster than gallardo,ferrari F430 etc)

and what has ford done ? the GT500 can´t even beat 350Hp civics, the handling sucks and the top speed of the GT500 is under 300kph

The problem isnt power or weight so much as it is grip. The Corvette has WIDE 11" wheel were as the GT 500 only has 9" stock for stock. Now with the Shelby Super Snake up grade the GT 500 gets 10" wheels but the extra 100+ hp they add depending on which Super Snake you choose 605hp or 725hp it rounds out to being the same as the stock GT 500. I hear it's in works that Shelby is going to make custom 11" wheels for them but not sure when they will be available.

I'm a huge Mustang guy, but it's rediculous to even bother comparing the Mustang to the Corvette. The Vette is super low weight, big power, great balance. Different league. Unfortunatly for the Mustang, everything you do to it, the bigger badder LSx can do too, in a vehicle with less weight.

are u sure ? can i see a race of it beating a zr1? no....i sont think a super snake could BEAT a zr1 ls9 beast ....that bitch is 4000lbs and all that hp wont do any good with the weight on it ...they will probably be side to side on a drag.......BUT THE zr1 can rape it at the corners with the skidpad,grip, suspension and the brakes.....and i bet it will beat it at at the nurberring ....if the ford gt tt can make better times than 7s on a quarter mile ..

WTF the announcer said 5000lb mustang,bull shit,the gt500 is 80lbs shy of 4000lbs so with a big driver it's no more the 4100 lbs as the vette is quite a bit lighter @ 3200lbs and about 3400lbs with a driver.

by the way your wrong,if you read the stats probably,but the supersnake ran 10.8 @ 132mph best,infact they only ran it once in over a dozen runs,all the other times were low 11's all runs were on MT slicks,as for the zr1 it states 11.2 1/4 mile and 638hp,it actually puts out 649 hp(dyno tested) and ran at PBIR on street tires a 10.8 @ 134mph,est a .2 to .3 decrease if on slicks,so i know from experience not reading a magazine,however it is a mean looking car.
