Kieren wastes a lot of time in the turns. Look at 3:38, for instances. Hackett has about a half body lenght on Kieren just before the turn. After the turn he gets a full body lenght.

Look at the difference with Grant. Grant is relaxed and comfortable while the rest seem to be anxious and nervous. You will see the same with Ian Thorpe.
