Watch the HALI livestock team conduct TB testing of pastoralist cattle in bomas (livestock) pens in the Ruaha Ecosystem of Tanzania. The lead technician is Howard Kombe with his assistant James. HALI was conducting TB testing of livestock in Ruaha as part of research investigating TB transmission routes at the ecosystem scale between wildlife, livestock, human households and the environment. This work is now continuing with funding from the NIH, which will include TB testing of livestock keepers and their households.
