While inspecting this condo I found that the bathroom sink was leaking. Most Delaware Home Inspectors just run the water in these areas, Which is ok if you don't mind moving in to your brand knew home and finding out you have a leak. As part of our inspections we always fill up sinks and then drain them we want to find every possible issue so we can help you make a better decision about what your buying.

  • How do you repair that? What tools would I need?

  • @wolf03rudy You could try caulk or plumbers putty but that is like putting a bandade on something that needs stitches. My best advice is replace the sink, Because once it gets to the point of leaking they will not always repair very well.

  • Good catch Ted. Some inspectors don't go as far as you did to fill the bowl to find defects. Good job!

  • Good find Ted. It's a good thing you caught that before the buyer moved in.
