Battle of the Storytellers Contest! (OPEN)

Hey everyone! :D I've had this idea in my head for a little while and now I'm going to do it ^^ I'd love if you guys could let other people know about this, currently no deadline but I'll post one soon :)

So the way this works is that you pick any character that will be telling the story as the video goes along, the story doesn't have the be from the same movie but it can't have the character you pick as the teller in the story. Heres an example of a character telling a story that I did a while back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yNiptgCbSw (mostly the begining when hes telling it, the middle it kinda turns into present time with him in it ^^; )

Rules:
~ Needs to be over 1 minute
~ Has to have a character telling the story, but the character can't be IN the story
~ Story can be about anything but please have it written out in the description
~ Will be judged on effects (don't drown it in them please), quality, and how well the story is shown in the video
~ Can use any video footage :D I'm not picky as long as its not something like rated R ya know? lol

Prizes: (examples of my art can be found at www.wolftale.deviantart.com )
1st place - full colored picture of a character of your choice (animal or fantasy plz I can't do humans x.x) OR a background for your channel
2nd place - colored picture of your character with simple background OR a background for your channel
3rd place - colored picture of your character OR a background for you channel

Anyone who enters I will comment and rate on your videos, also anyone who enters I'll make a channel icon for them if they want one (just ask I don't bite lol)

anyway yea its basically just a story line that has a character looking like its telling it. doesn't have to have the cahracter saying anything audio or text thats optional but the story needs to be written out in the side bar of your video

Oh this is such a good idea! I really wanna try to enter! Wow really unique and certainely something that you have to work hard at. I'll definitely try my best and make an awesome video for you! I agree with CarlyzzzWorld, you just need to make a story line right?

omgg@!!! i wanna enter:) i have a few questions tho: can I put like one character telling a story and another character thts just in there to make the annoying sound effects? lol anyways also can I get movie waves, and put them together to make my story? last one can it be comedy? thnx! AND YESH I >3 UR IDEA!!!! if I can do comedy.....*anotha voice speaks* trust me u dont wanna know!!!

hehe yea have fun with it ^^ as long as it tells a story and has at least 1 teller you can do what ever you want :D

i have a question tho.. like does it have to have a story line. or the character actually has to like tell the story.. like speak it?
