  • Boring.... Pick up the pace .. Buy or rent a personality.....

  • this guy is right on. it's funny how for thousands of years our ancestors saved seed year after year slowly developing better strains yet all of a sudden there's fear that our seeds may not be 'pure'. how do you think heirlooms came about? guess we can't take the chance...better go and buy them each year supporting big business like a good little consumer should.

  • Thank you Daniel! I'm new to gardening and didn't start educating myself until *after* putting in my seed order...which is when I came across the warnings of cross-pollination. I was really upset, thinking I wouldn't be able to plant all of my tomatoes or squash, etc. in the same year, but you've put my mind at ease. Either I'll be able to control it, or I won't...but if I'm not able to do so, perhaps I'll end up with a new & wonderful strain!

  • I save seed, and consider it the currancy of the future.

    dollar will die, not seeds.

also bury some double bagged, will last for decades, with no one able to steal, no fire can kill nor tornado blow it away.
