    Imagine you said this: - in a monotone, signing voice - in a smiling happy voice - in an angry, fast paced voice

    See how the meaning changes? You're message could be: - sorry i don 't have the time but i would really like to reply - i don't like you and i'm not going to help - i'm really busy and overworked, go away

    However, when you ready it as is, you don't know what I'm actually trying to communicate and you can misinterpret it. That is the gist

  • I dont think this theory is credible. Does it mean that if somebody is using only body I'll understand half of what he says. Or if I read a book I'll catch only 7% of the writer's ideas?
