My picture diary of my scoliosis surgery.
Thank you to all of my family and friends who have loved, prayed for, and supported me throughout this entire journey! I praise God for you every day! This surgery was really tough, but with God's help, all things are possible!
@herbitualhooper my mom had this surgery done when she was 13 she is now 33 so wherever u got that information it's false tell that person that they need to read up on things before going and telling people things that are not true. Not tryen to sound luck a bitch or anything.

It's 4 months since my daughter Mikayla had her surgery. She had 3 wedges of her vertebrae removed. Her rods are from T2 to L2. She lost 3 l's of blood during surgery and had 2 transfusions. They knicked the dural sack and had to lay flat on her back for 5 days. After this she got to sit up. She did it tuff the first day. Made it home the day before her 13th birthday. She lost alot of weight, but has put some back on since then. She has a beautiful straight spine now and doing most things:)

@4everblondie17 be brave and be calm.I had mine 30 sept and I'm much better now.why do you look at these?I never touched YT on this theme before surgery in order to maintain my blood super cool.I'm 46 and never had problems or pain till 2010.then everything crumbled and had to find a neurosurgeon with guts to take me to the surgery(there were many more complications).everything's OK now.I WAS WALKING AFTER 36 HOURS!!! 10 DAYS AFTER I STARTED TO SWIM VERY GENTLY,OF COURSE.HAVE FAITH!!!
