@SilentPokus The plant is "slick" on the inside, preventing most insects from gripping the sides to get out. Once they drop to a side, they can't climb out. It absorbs them after that. Theres liquid in some other pitcher plants too, so if they drop all the way to the bottom they can't fly out.
