All of these video effect DOS virii are interesting. I think I may try and get a standalone computer with DOS, test some of these, and see if I can crack down on how they're made. Yet another great video, by the way. Thank you for the demonstrations.

I reccomend if you're going to go out and buy one, try buying from people you know first. Ask if they have an old 98 machine lying around somewhere, those can easily be formatted and used with DOS instead. Plus, buying it from someone in the area is much cheaper than paying for shipping online.

I know it also works under Windows 3.1 shell. It desintegrates the cursor/icons and hang the PC. May you show us?

@HGourinski2014 You could also try: On Windows 95, and Windows 98, hit shut down on the start menu, and click restart in MS-DOS mode.

Cascade was one of the coolest viruses I thought. I picked it up when I bought a 386 from a junk shop. I thought at first it had a weird screensaver installed, until I found out that no such screensaver was installed in CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT!
