Iran Unveiled presents an alternative perception, one rarely portrayed in media that is poetic, contextual, and raw. Through photography, the artist presents some of Iran's most overlooked, sacred and illustrious sites while exploring the contrasts that exist between unassuming and extravagant subjects. As the angle shifts from the natural and architectural manifestations, a social and cultural perspective is formulated, one that presents a fascinating dialogue between subject and object. Gripping moments of dependency, worship, celebration, and refuge among familiar and re-adapted sites are captured and portrayed.
