I am finally able to take belly dance classes after wanting to for the past 5 years and I enjoyed being able to name the moves am now familiar with just by watching their bodies and not by the language. I will include the exercise of the shoulder punches, chest pops, and hip bumps as it looks like good practice. Thank you for the video and for keeping online. :D

@beautyfulbb Es verdad que se ven un poco raras por que estamos acostumbrados a ver a las bailarinas de medio oeste, pero no lo hacen tan mal, creo, que no?

It's true that it's a woman's dance but what's funny is that the women where all originaly thought by men.
These dancers are very good, but it just doesn't suit them. It's not like they can't dance because of it, it just isn't as beautiful to look at as when the body's full figured.

@kokowawa914 Ofcourse we can!
Thank you XevraX for setting us straight.
I think it's wonderful that women of any culture embrace this ages-old women's dance.
I know there are male belly dancers, and they are great too! But this dance originated as a women's dance. Perhaps it's time we let ALL person's embrace this beautiful dance, be they male, female, Middle Eastern, Korean, German, American. And whether they be "skinny" or "fat". Dance is an artform that any BODY can do, and should do.
