http://www.ourscenetv.com Tuesday, May 26th the California State Supreme Court uphelp Proposition 8, the state's ban on same-sex marriage. While the Court honored the 18,000 gay and lesbian couples who married prior to the passage of Prop 8, the new ruling denies marriage equality in the state with the highest number of same-sex couples in the country. Emotions ran high after the Court announced its ruling. Protests were held from coast to coast. New Yorkers reacted to the news by taking to the streets.

  • @prestda1 - "if it's true that you're born that way, then it's a genetic defect that needs to be removed from the human genome. I'll bet that it's possible once they figure out what really causes it." - Sounds awesome, and after they figure out how to cure people of gayness, maybe they can figure out how to cure people of non-whiteness... Hitler would be so proud.

  • No. No one is born that way based on a genetic defect! That's a myth. Just like gay marriage itself. The God of the Universe never has and never will recognize such confusion.

  • I'm not a hater, this is simply a behavioral issue, and if it's true that you're born that way, then it's a genetic defect that needs to be removed from the human genome. I'll bet that it's possible once they figure out what really causes it.

  • wtf,,, ok this channel is not for haters, someone needs to delete your comment and block you

  • Nor should it be, they don't deserve the same rights as straights

  • feels like stonewall all over again,,,, it's just soo crazy. i live in Toledo OH and they granted citizens domestic partners rights or something,,, they have a city registry for gay couples,,, but i agree it's not the same as marriage
