@blastic101 radio shows yes,100%. When i play out I will "loosly" plan it out and collect 30-40 tracks I WANT to play and know all work together, but will only use a certain amount based on how long you are playing and whats happening. I don't think there is anything wrong with planning whatsoever - its like a test.. you study for a test correct? Same with music, I want to be ready with tunes that make sense with eachother, and I have WAY to much music to remember it all on the spot

@Nygel36 I appreciate the reply! I was asking because I never really need to plan all that much when I'm mixing chiller music like Tech. On the other hand I have no Idea what I'm doing behind an electro house playlist or hardstyle. The melody's and buildups are to specific.

@blastic101 no problem friend! I can understand your comment completely.. some styles you have to be a bit more careful with to avoid conflicting basslines/synths/pads etc :)
