  • is the dm&ir still alive?

  • @ctw100s Its still running, but it is owned and opperated by the CN. So there have been lots of changes, and all of the DM&IR locomotives where either sold off, or scrapped...

  • @1jackdk Actually Jack 12 Missabe locomotives remain. Tunnel motors DMIR 400, 402, 404-409 remain in CN colors, while the 403 wears maroon, and SD38-2's 211 and 212 survive in CN colors, with 215 still in maroon.

  • @1jackdk too bad some were gone or abandoned... I decided to get a video the next few years

  • Love the P5 on the lead unit! I've heard a horn like that years ago!

  • They owned SD9s To the end

  • that sounds almost identical to the P5 I am going to m ount on top of my Ford Duelly truck I took it down to the local detal shop here in town and tested it they didnt believe it was real until I put it on shop air and cleared out the shop staff it was so loud inside that closed building but they believe me now LOL..this is one railroad I am sorry I never got to photograph before CN ruined it

  • very interesting I though it was an M5 at first but the CP didnt get the Missabe the CN did so ou can assume the CN will ruin them too

  • the CN got the DM&IR not the CP

  • i was right by these tracks this june/july
