@foxesandfeathers I could but it wouldn't mean anything. You need to find the pattern that works for you, don't try to learn someone else's. If you just have fun with it you, to the point where you don't think about it, your fingers will teach you a new pattern.. Just sayin'..

I have some of my garage sale-ing friends keeping an eye out for a banjo. And I keep checking ebay and craigslist. Can't spend too much money, so far the cheapest I found was $100 yikes! But I'm a patient gal, I know there is one out there waiting for me.

How is it picking up a banjo compared to a guitar?Looks like the chords are simpler but the finger action can be just strumming or crazy spider hands as you want it.Also wouldn't mind hearing "Wabash Cannonball" if you ever get the time.Or maybe "The Ballad of Casey Jones".
