Every shooter on MAME starting with B that you need to know about.

Run'n'gun. Chase view shootans. Over the shoulder shootans. Single screen shootans. Light gun games.

Okay, well, no light gun games. Mouse control will never replace the real thing, and my policy is that if I can't adequately replicate the original control scheme, I won't include it.

Those last three especially are effing classics as far as I'm concerned. If you haven't played them yet, I give you leave to do so. But after you're done, come back to RadicalRomReviews for a new vid every three days!

BTW, just gotta say - I can't wait 'till I start uploading the C vids. I got a better mic, better recording equipment, and a better looking format. Better, more, bigger, stronger, faster! The new R3! *MELTS YOUR EFFING FACE OFF!!!*

On the agenda next: puzzlers, racers, fighters, sports, the worst of B, and then finally off to C! I might do a recap thing of the B's too, but I dunno yet.

Personally, I just stick with MAME32, but I'd hardly say it's the "best" - it's just the easiest to use. There are others that provide a great deal more options for fancy front ends and such, but for your average user such as myself, MAME32 is it.

Some games don't work with MAME32 if you don't have the BIOS. So I have both MAME32 and FinalBurn Alpha.

Battle Rangers - not a good game

Burning Force - nice game

Biomechanical Toy - looks a good platformer. Might try that one.

Bank Panic - classic game requiring fast reactions and good planning.

Blasted - I failed this one because the cursor is joystick controlled and doesn't move fast enough. This would be much better as a gun game, or even trackball.

Blood Bros - Good choice.

That game is called "Prehistoric Isle in 1930" Just happens to be my fave arcade game ever! Played it a few times today on my MAME cabinet :)

what is the caveman-esque game in the opening of your videos. I think its like a football game with 3 caveman fighting?? i remember playing. Id love to know the name of it please.

Does somebody knows a shoot them up game where two mercenary-looking guys shot bad guys in a futuristic wasteland.

I don't remember mouch about that game, only a helicopter chase, two giant gears, some astronaut-looking bad guy with jet packs, an electro-cruxified man and a final fight in the moon. Anybody?
