If the people would have rocked out with the guitar when he was walking across the stage, I think the rock fun mood would have come across better, but coming from someone who has sang Handel's Messiah before, this is a fun and creative twist. Who cares how much it resembles the original? If that was the goal, they would have just done the original. This was just a fun take on a classic oratorio, and it is full of energy and really fun to watch!

I saw this in Charlotte, NC the other night and it was incredible. I know this may not be for everyone, but it was very powerful in person...the audience was singing, clapping and worshiping. I left refreshed and rejuvenated spiritually...just like I had been to a good church service.

Classical music???? Very thinly disguised Christian Pop music.... Badly written and bearing almost no relationship with Handel's composition. It was horrible.

4 people need to pull the twig of mistletoe out of their butt and realize this production is a way for families to enjoy a night of culture and to get kids interested in classical music.

this is horrible! Handel must be spinning in his grave. It's even on the break of insulting.
